Special Maverick Wine Dinners!

Hello Maverick enthusiasts!  We hope you had a safe and enjoyable holiday season.  We wanted to let you know about some events that we have planned for February.

On February 9, High Cotton Charleston will be hosting the Domaine Carneros Sparkling Wine Dinner, courtesy of chef Anthony Gray and sommelier Patrick Emerson.  The dinner will be a pre-Valentine’s Day event, featuring special guest Eileen Crane, the founding winemaker for Domaine Carneros.  We are very fortunate to have Ms. Crane dine with us, so make sure you make your reservations soon!  The dinner is $68.00, and begins at 6:30 with hor d’oeurves.

On February 10, The Old Village Post House in Mt. Pleasant will be featuring a wine dinner with special guest Steve MacRostie.  MacRostie is the founder and original winemaker of MacRostie Winery and Vineyards in Sonoma, California.  The menu is created by Frank Lee, Executive Chef and Jim Walker, Chef de Cuisine, with wine pairings by Patrick Emerson.  This event is $55.00 per person.

We are also pleased to announce that our new restaurant on Pawleys Island, High Hammock, is now open to the public!  High Hammock is currently serving dinner seven nights a week, with lunch and the famous Maverick Sunday Brunch soon to come.
