The Old Village Post House will be hosting an Irish Whiskey dinner in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day featuring traditional Irish cuisine and whiskeys.
The pairings will feature Jameson, Redbreast, and Middleton Irish whiskeys from the rare and reserve collections. The brands are known internationally, and deliver stout taste with a great finish. The menu is created by Frank Lee, Executive Chef and Jim Walker, Chef de Cuisine, with whiskey pairings by Patrick Emerson, Wine and Beverage Director.
The event costs $45.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity. For guests wishing to stay overnight at the inn, a special room rate for wine dinner guests is $100 plus tax. Amenities include hi speed wireless internet access, continental breakfast and more.

Recently, restaurant reviewer and Grand Stand foodie extraordinaire Becky Billingsley sat down at our newest restaurant, High Hammock Maverick Seaside Kitchen, and had great things to say about her experience.
“You begin to see servers and managers and chefs not as their titles imply, but as local artisans devoted to their culinary crafts. The final tick on the checklist is complete, and the grade is A+. These folks get it.”
