There’s no doubt that Charleston has become one of our country’s top culinary destinations. Open any culinary publication and chances are very good that you’ll find coverage of the Holy City included. Yes, it’s true that Charleston is brimming with great restaurateurs, chefs, beverage professionals, servers, etc., but we must not forget to pay our respects to the media for their role in bringing the city’s colorful culinary stories to life. At Maverick, we do so through our annual Festival Unwrapped event.

The brunch event, now in its third year, is held at High Cotton during Charleston’s Wine + Food Festival. Local and guest chefs, authors, wine professionals and restaurateurs are invited join regional and national media for a morning of delicious food and networking.

This year’s event was a huge success!
