A bustling kitchen retail shop where you'll find the artistry, equipment and gadgets that help you make culinary magic happen, with a teaching kitchen featuring enjoy-it-now, fun-filled cooking classes led by our talented instructors.

With both demonstration and participation classes, beginners and experts alike delve into an array of deliciousness, from savory sauces to wonderful wines. Our joy comes from providing the space, tools and instruction with which food and wine enthusiasts can happily gather, taste and learn. Our hope is that our exuberance is so contagious you'll take it home and share it.

That's where Danielle Wecksler and her crew come in - transforming raw desire into mad kitchen skills.

Jennifer Neeld

Retail Operations Manager

Northern Virginia native Jennifer Neeld spent much of her formative years living in various locales around the world. Call it the norm for the child of a parent who works for the government: Jennifer learned early on that the world was full of interesting people and set out to get to know them. With such an interest in others, it's little surprise she found her way to Maverick Southern Kitchens, where hospitality and strong relationships are two of the company's main ingredients.

Emily Kimbrough

Culinary Instructor

For Emily Kimbrough, the word "locavore" isn't a movement: it's simply how she and her family lived. On a farm in Waynesboro, Georgia, Emily grew up with her agricultural engineer father, farmer/homemaker mother and organic blueberry farmer uncle, picking berries, planting flowers, harvesting vegetables, milking cows and feeding chickens.
