We’re excited to have Danielle leading Charleston Cooks! as general manager and director of the culinary center. She discovered her love of cooking while running the cutthroat Silicon Valley gauntlet as a Program Manager at Apple Computers where she spent nine years moving up the IT ranks. While with Apple, Danielle studied at the prestigious Tante Marie Cooking School in San Francisco, then started moonlighting at Sur La Table, a major cooking retailer on the West Coast.

Determined to leave the computer world and commit to a culinary career, Danielle went to Italy and immersed herself in honing her skills at Apicius Professional Cooking School in Florence. Free to explore and live anywhere in the United States, Danielle and husband, Andrew decided the culture and environment of Charleston were irresistible. With two dogs, they are enjoying their home in Mt. Pleasant and a refreshing lifestyle on the southeast coast.
