Jill Maynard never intended to make a career of the restaurant world, but the ambitious young woman found that hospitality offered precisely that: a career that inspired her. In 2011, Jill returned to restaurant operations as general manager of Slightly North of Broad, then to her current role at High Cotton Charleston in 2012 as general manager. When Jill is not working, she enjoys spending time on the water, playing with her chocolate labradors, Jed and Dylan, and cooking at home with family and friends.
Shawn Kelly has been putting out fires and making waves with Maverick Southern Kitchens since 2003. He originally studied fire protection at the University of Akron in Ohio, but came to realize his true calling was working with flames on the stove. Shawn is known for his love of fresh seafood, regional ingredients, and culinary creativity. When Shawn is not in the kitchen, he enjoys watching and playing sports, going to the beach, and spending time with friends.
A Charleston native and attendee of the College of Charleston, Tony Norton is no stranger to Southern Hospitality. For the past 12 years he has dedicated his time and passion for food and wine to High Cotton. With his problem solving ability, integrity and capability to maintain a cool head, he has excelled over the years in the hospitality industry.
