"Named as one of Charleston's great restaurants for weddings, rehearsal dinners, Sunday brunches, or just a romantic dinner"
Martha Stewart Weddings
"We went to High Cotton for Sunday Brunch. It could not have been better. The atmosphere with the big ceiling fans and Dixieland band playing was wonderful. Service was excellent."
Trip Advisor
"My wedding reception High Cotton was amazingly perfect. The food was delectable, the service was impeccable and so very pleasant, the sommelier made perfect wine pairings for our menu selections, the band was exactly what we'd hoped for, and Lindsay and John were such a pleasure to work with through the entire process. I really can't thank you all enough for making it so completely stress-free for us."

Mark Marhefka, owner of Abundant Seafood, has been deemed "the captain of the sea." He supplies his fresh catch to the best Charleston restaurants.
"Local seafood availability is constantly changing, like the ocean. My wife Kerry and I pass on each day's selections to the chefs at Maverick Southern Kitchens before we even reach the dock, enabling them to have the finest fish on their menu each day," Mahefka says.
Marhefka's name has been in the New York Times and is prevalent on menus around town, but he says he couldn't do it without his wife Kerry because during his weeks out at sea, Kerry takes orders and runs the Abundant Seafood operation.
